Our main focus is providing clients with wireless Internet broadband services and future Fibre services. We also like to not only serve our clients to the best of our ability, but also try to educate the public in matters regarding the Internet and related technologies, while providing customers with products to suit their specific needs. We only use ICASA approved products to provide our clients with the best legal wireless Internet service possible. Helping and supporting clients is our passion, from home users to large business environments.

We also offer mail and web hosting services through our partner company WebBest. Our sister company, Home PC, also boasts over 20 years experience in computer sales and technical support. Wan4u also provides a partner program to help broaden our services and reach more customers around the country.

Where we come from

We have been building our network since 2001; starting with only one 64k Diginet Internet line. Since then we have grown to use multiple Fibre connections which we distribute wireless to our clients.

Projects and achievements

LanX

Wan4u supplies each year carrier Internet to over 200 LAN gamers at the LANX expo and gaming event. The total throughput was over 200Mbps and usage over 4Tb during 72hrs. Wan4u supplied Internet for the expo and public over WiFi to support the event even further. 5Ghz Airmax AC were used and achieved over 400 Mbps throughput test over 3 km distance!

Adrenaline show (Computicket)

Wan4u supplied Computicket with WiFi access for selling tickets online through Wan4u Internet. The GSM spectrum were overloaded because of all the public entering the airport. 2 x 5Ghz Airmax links were connected to our towers and distribution was done using 2.4Ghz Mikrotik product(SXT) supplying 10Mbps constant speed.

Neotel to NFMW

Wan4u went to Bellville in Cape Town to install a temporary PTP link between National Fund for Municipal Workers and Neotel. The link was needed to be installed as a short term solution, as Fibre will take up to 3 months to deploy. Wan4u used 2 x Airmax Nanobeam units to connect the 2 buildings through VLAN Trunk using Mikrotik hardware to split the SIP and DATA networks that is supplied from Neotel.

Thabazimbi to Pretoria

Wan4u created a 150 km link between Pretoria North and Thabazimbi (Kransberg) that provides Internet to North West Province. The link has been created on remote Kransberg mountain range using only solar power.

Raptor research (Vulpro) Dedicated to conservation

Wan4u contribute our towers to monitor Eagles and Vultures through IP cameras, this then enables the nature conservationist to monitor the species closely and understand better breeding habits of the parents. We also sponsor additional wireless network equipment to save Vulpro on the infrastructure costing.
